Berawal dari ibu-ibu fatayat yang berlatar belakang ibu rumah tangga, yang ingin ada menambah pemasukan tanpa mengurangi kualitas dengan kelurga. Batik menjadi trend yang tidak pernah mati, sehingga membuat ibu-ibu fatayat membuat kelompok batik. Dari diskusi tau obrolan-obrolan kosong, mereka membuat kesepakatn untuk membuat batik dengan memanfaatkan bahan di sekitar rumah (Magrove). banyaknya pohon magrove di daerah karimun yang kurang termanfaatkan. gayung bersambut dengan keinginan ibu-ibu fatayat , Tim PKM UNISNU yang melakukan pengabdian dengan membatik mewujudkan keinginan untuk mengaplisaikan magrove menjadi pewarna batik dan menjadi ICON batik karimun jawa.
